Each of the following stair designs have been based on the words used to describe the designers' works which inspired the sections. The stairs should represent the designer and the focus of their work as they lead customers and viewers into the designer's showroom and work space.
Stair One: 'Industrial'
The above staircase has an aluminium handrail and balustrade, inspired by pipes. The lighting is attached to the balustrade, and consists of exposed filament globes. This design was partly inspired by the image below:

Stair Two: 'Delicate'
The treads for this proposed stair design are composed of acrylic and timber, and were inspired by the image below.

Stair Three: 'Connecting'
Like the upper plane in the previous post about the SketchUp Model, the individual stairs which make up this staircase are interlocking geometric shapes, similar to puzzle pieces.
Stair Four: 'Shell'
This twist on the typical spiral, or helical, staircase mimics the shape of a shell. Further, the treads fan out in a
similar fashion to that of the ribs of a seashell.
