I made several changes to the 'shell' staircase while developing the model for this submission. I reduced the height of the staircase so that it was adapted to the terrain. This also made the staircase more functional while keeping its dramatic nature and look.
I made the staircase's handrail bronze in colour, similar to the wooden benchtops of the workshop spaces. I also changed the marble tread texture from a SketchUp material to one of the materials I drew in the 36 textures studio activity.
